There is obviously a performance benefit that offsets this weight increase (or Nike have managed to shave more weight off the ZoomX foam). This is an interesting development as depending on the size of the pods, they're likely to have added extra weight to the shoe, plus more foam will mean more weight. This is most likely to accommodate the air bubble in the forefoot, something not seen before (pictures suggest it is in fact two air bubbles, side by side). It's looking bigger than ever, perhaps there is a greater degree of ZoomX being used but the stack height looks considerable next to the NEXT%.
